Egypt

Egypt offers more than antiquities, with its prime location to see a great heritage of the ancient world including Pyramids and wonderful temples, the country is also a part of the Holy Land and tours to Christian and other religious monuments are popular. Egypt also has nature and desert treks, great scuba diving and even golf, fishing and bird expeditions to offer to residents and visitors. One may choose to unwind on the wondrous Egypt Red Sea or Sinai coasts, take in the high culture of Cairo, or even leisurely float down the Egyptian Nile on a luxurious river boat.

Located in North Africa with the Sinai Peninsula forming a land bridge in Southwest Asia, Egypt is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, Gaza Strip and Israel to northeast, the Red Sea to the East, Sudan to the south and Libya to the west.

Arabic is the official language of the country and the currency used is Egyptian Pound (EGP) wherein AED 1 = EGP 1.53870 (approximate figures only as exchange rate may vary).
